LISA BENNETT

March 2002

I walked 8.4 miles in 6 hours from my house to my friend’s house while I unraveled yarn, that I bought off ebay from some guy in North Carolina, from my homemade yarn dispenser which broke so I had to buy some duct tape to fix it (it broke again when I stopped to pee, so I actually had to fix it twice).

I took in my backpack two cameras, film, extra hat and gloves, needle-nosed plyers, a pen, credit card and license, some quarters, water and some raisins. I also carried a small purse which I kept my camera in.

I started at 11 a.m. and arrived at my friend’s house at 5 p.m. When I got to my friend’s house I took a hot bath and ate a large pizza with green peppers on it.

90 photographs are approximately 5 inches x 7 inches.
